Community Guidelines
Effective date: 2026-07-24
1. Purpose
JU is for finding people for shared leisure activities and events. These Guidelines explain what is allowed and how we enforce safety for user-generated content (events, profiles, messages, media).
2. Prohibited content and behaviour
- Threats and violence.
- Harassment and bullying.
- Hate speech and discrimination.
- Sexual exploitation and non-consensual sexual content.
- Any sexual or exploitative content involving minors — zero tolerance.
- Illegal goods and services.
- Drugs and controlled substances.
- Weapons and dangerous activities that create serious foreseeable risk.
- Fraud and scams.
- Spam and mass unsolicited promotion.
- Violating others’ privacy; posting others’ personal data without permission.
- Impersonation.
- Copyright infringement.
- Dangerous events that encourage serious harm.
- Commercial advertising without JU permission.
3. Events and offline safety
Organizers must describe events honestly and keep them lawful. Participants should use common-sense safety: public venues, trusted contacts, leave if uncomfortable.
JU does not supervise offline meetings and cannot guarantee other people’s behaviour.
4. Reporting and blocking
Report a user: open the user’s profile → Report.
Report an event: open the event (feed or event screen) → Report.
Block a user: open the user’s profile → Block. Blocked users’ content is hidden from your feed and chats where enforced.
Message-level reporting may not be available in the current Build; use user/event report and block, or contact support for serious cases.
5. Moderation actions
After a report or proactive review, JU may remove or restrict content, limit features, warn users, or suspend/ban accounts.
We may retain limited moderation records as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Support
Safety and escalation: support@ju-app.com. Never send your password. Include your account email and a description of the issue.
