Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the JU service operator (Nikolay Vyskrebentsev, an individual, Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.) (“JU”, “we”).

JU is a platform that helps people discover and create leisure activities and events, join them, and communicate. JU is not the organizer of user-created offline events.

By creating an account or using JU you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you disagree, do not use the app.

This document is a user agreement for a free consumer app. It is not a commercial public offer for paid digital goods or subscriptions. The current Build does not process payments or in-app purchases.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of full legal capacity under applicable law) to use JU.

3. Account

Registration uses email and password in the current Build. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

Provide accurate profile information. Do not share your account. Notify support if you suspect unauthorized access.

JU may refuse registration or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or law.

4. Events and user content

You may create events, upload media, write messages, rate users, follow users, and otherwise contribute content (“User Content”).

You retain rights to your User Content, but grant JU a non-exclusive worldwide licence to host, reproduce, display, and distribute it as needed to operate and moderate the service.

You represent that you have the rights to publish the content and that it does not infringe others’ rights.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activity.
• Threats, harassment, hate, discrimination, or sexual exploitation.
• Content involving minors in sexual or exploitative contexts (zero tolerance).
• Drugs, weapons, or other dangerous/illegal goods and services.
• Spam, scraping, impersonation, or publishing others’ personal data without permission.
• Dangerous events that foreseeably risk serious harm.
• Commercial advertising without JU’s permission.

6. Real-world meetings and safety

Offline meetings carry inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your safety decisions. JU does not guarantee that other users will attend, behave lawfully, or be who they claim to be.

Meet in public places when possible, tell a trusted person where you go, and leave if you feel unsafe.

7. Reporting, blocking, and moderation

You may report users and events and block users in the app. JU may review reports, remove or restrict content, limit features, or suspend/ban accounts.

Moderation decisions may be made using automated and/or human review. Contact support to escalate safety issues.

8. Account deletion

You may delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account). Consequences for data are described in the Privacy Policy and Account Deletion page.

9. Service availability

We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change.

10. JU intellectual property

The JU name, branding, app UI, and non-user materials are owned by the operator or its licensors. You may not copy or exploit them except as allowed to use the service.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JU is provided “as is”. We are not liable for user conduct, offline events, or losses arising from interactions between users, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this website. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

We may suspend or discontinue the service. You may stop using JU and delete your account at any time.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Республика Казахстан, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
