Account deletion

1. How to delete in the app

Open JU → Profile tab → scroll to Delete account.

Confirm twice in the system dialogs. After confirmation, access to the account ends and you are signed out.

2. What is deleted

Through the current deletion flow we remove your authentication user and personal profile, related private profile fields (including push token and stored private coordinates where applicable), your messages, participation and join-request records, follows, ratings, and block relationships, as implemented in the current Build.

3. Events you created

Events you created may be anonymized / marked as deleted and closed (soft-closed) rather than immediately hard-deleted, so other participants are not left with a broken listing.

4. What may remain

Limited moderation, audit, or legally required records may be retained for safety, abuse prevention, or compliance.

Some uploaded media objects in storage may not be purged instantly by the current automated process. Residual technical copies may remain until cleaned up operationally. We do not promise instantaneous destruction of every copy on every system.

5. Requests outside the app

If you cannot access the app, email support@ju-app.com from your account email (or clearly identify the account). Do not send your password.

We process requests without undue delay, subject to technical and legal requirements. We do not publish a fixed calendar deadline that has not been legally approved.
