Account deletion

1. How to delete in the app

Open JU → Profile tab → scroll to Delete account.

Confirm twice in the system dialogs. After confirmation, access to the account ends and you are signed out.

2. What is deleted

The current deletion flow removes the authentication user, profile and private account data, your messages, participation and join-request records, blocks, and reports, your avatar files in storage, and your event media. media_url and media_type on events you created are cleared.

3. Events you created

Event rows you created may remain in anonymized form rather than being removed entirely.

4. What may remain

Coordinates of those events may be retained as part of the anonymized event record.

5. Requests outside the app

If you cannot access the app, email support@ju-app.com from your account email (or clearly identify the account). Do not send your password.

We process requests without undue delay, subject to technical and legal requirements. We do not publish a fixed calendar deadline that has not been legally approved.
